Hello!
As an artist and a writer, I strive for my work to tell a story. I want my art to do more than simply tell the story of a princess; I want my art to express the feeling of believing these stories. The mind of a child is so beautiful, and while as we grow up we strive to become more serious, I want my art to go against that — I want to make the viewers stay young and bright, because everyone needs to feel the lightness of childhood again.
I am constantly obsessing over color in my pieces, as I believe it can tell a story just as much as the imagery itself. I am inspired by illustrators like Tillie Walden, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Jan Brett, and Devin Elle Kurtz for their use of illustration to remind adults of aspects of childhood. I want my art to bring the memories back, and to allow the viewer to do more than remember them; I strive for my pieces to bring back the creativity and joy that comes with those recollection.
I hope you enjoy my art as much as I do, and I am excited you’re here!
